What a great weekend we've had. For two days in a row we've been looking for chanterelles.
Lexi surprised us all with a willingness to work that she's never shown before, she was happy, playful and concentrated on the work that we had to do. It was fantastic to see and made me really happy. All thou I must admit that her willingness to work and her concentration is far from the other dogs in our class, they are all stars when it comes to find the gold of the forest.
Jenny and Vimla were also attending the course this weekend and Vimla, as always, did a fantastic job. At the end of day one she easily found chanterelles growing that haven't been touch by humans, and that's the hard part, to get the dog to find the "real" ones and not the ones we've put out. But they are an amazing couple those two and there's nothing they can't do ;).
Also attending the course was a half sister to Lexi; Rex Ventors Phoebe. She was a sweet little girl and did a great job finding those yellow ones.
After the course yesterday we had a quick gathering with two of Lexis pups from the RV R-litter. Ramses with mum Sofia and daddy James was visiting Solna and we just had to see them, Rizla with her big sister Troja and daddy Radko also came over. It was so nice to see them all. Both Rizla and Ramses are fantastic; they are sweet, friendly and secure with an amazing personality, only ten weeks old. I'm sure that they will grow up to bee spectacular dogs, both in character and looks.
Lexi had a great time and was happy to see both of them again. She played with them so gentle and nice.
Rizla was the leader of the two of them; she decided where they would go and what they would do. Ramses tagged along and did what she said. If he tried to take the lead or to start a wrestling match she got really upset and jumped on him telling him that's not how you do it ;). They had so much fun.
It was really nice to see all of you again and I hope that it won't take long until the next time.

Yesterday me and Helena drove over to Veronica and took Lexi and Kiara for a nice walk. Both our girls were really happy to see each other again after a month apart.
We also had the opportunity to see Lexis puppies again, I haven't seen them since last weekend and it's amazing how much they develop and grow each day.
Some piccs can be found in the R-litter gallery >>

My week as a babysitter for Lexi and the RV-puppies are now over. It's been exhausting, fun and fantastic to see how well Lexi takes care of her puppies. She truly is a fantastic mom, always looking out for her babies, feeding them and grooming them. They are all developing nicely and are getting bigger for every minute that passes. They can't walk yet but it's fascinating to see how far they can get by crawling, they manage to get out of the puppy box all the time!
And I must say that I really enjoyed having a whole night of sleep last night ;) .
I've added some mixed pictures in the R-litter gallery >>

Where to bro???.

This way I think!

Just have to nap first!

Time for some updates!
As you all know Lexis and Minos puppies are here.
They were born on Friday morning, July 4.
As I understood it; the pre-work (do you call it that?) took to long so when it was time for the puppies to come out and the labour pains started, they where all too tiered and weak, therefore Lexi had to undergo a caesarean section. It was a scary and nervous Friday for me, being at work not able to do anything to help Lexi. But everything worked out all right, 8 puppies was hiding in Lexis BIG stomach, 5 boys and 3 girls (1 girl is ridgeless).
Lexi is at the moment getting more and more relaxed with her new role as a mother, she's taking excellent care of the whole bunch and I couldn't be more proud of her.
I've created a new album for Rex Ventors R-litter; take a look here >>
